About FCCF

New River Gorge, Fayette County, WV

The Fayette County Community Foundation (FCCF) was created to strengthen the tradition of local giving and help connect people, organizations, and resources that improve life in Fayette County. Our mission is to provide a welcoming venue that empowers donors to support healthy living, the arts, education, and community-building opportunities throughout our county.

Like many community foundations, we believe strong communities are built when local people invest in local opportunities. The difference is that we’re still in the early stages of building that future. Over the past several months, we’ve focused on creating a strong organizational foundation, developing policies and procedures, defining our priorities, and listening to community voices about where FCCF can make the greatest impact.

Today, FCCF serves as a community connector. We support local initiatives, act as a fiscal agent for qualifying charitable projects, promote volunteer opportunities, encourage local philanthropy, and help build partnerships that strengthen Fayette County.

We believe the best solutions often come from people who already care deeply about their communities. Our role is not to replace the good work already happening. Our role is to help support it, connect it, and grow it over time.
