The Fayette County Community Foundation is committed to protecting and responsibly managing every dollar entrusted to us.
As a volunteer-led organization, we take our stewardship responsibilities seriously. Our Board of Directors has adopted policies covering financial management, gift acceptance, fund administration, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, fundraising, cybersecurity, and long-term sustainability.
What We Do
Today, FCCF helps strengthen Fayette County by:
- Acting as a fiscal agent for qualifying community projects
- Supporting charitable funds and local fundraising efforts
- Connecting organizations with resources and funding opportunities
- Promoting volunteerism and community engagement
- Encouraging local philanthropy and long-term giving
Good Governance Matters
Our policies require:
- Board oversight of financial activities
- Segregation of financial duties
- Regular financial reporting
- Conflict of interest disclosures
- Confidential handling of donor and fund information
- Annual review of key organizational policies
Building for the Future
We’re still in the early stages of building the Foundation, but we’re building it with the future in mind. The systems, policies, and relationships we’re putting in place today are intended to support charitable giving, community projects, and local opportunities for years to come.
